The canvas is where you explore; the project is canon. Two buttons move between them.
Pull scenes onto a new canvas creates a canvas with a Beat context node and a Storyboard node for every scene, wired in order. Beat nodes carry the heading and mood; a Style context node can be added to colour everything downstream.
Commit selected to project does the reverse for whatever you have selected: a Beat node with no scene behind it becomes a new scene; a node that produced an image attaches it to its scene's first shot as the storyboard.
### Context nodes and canvas skills
- Beat, Style and Text annotation nodes publish context — beat, mood, style — that the nodes after them read.
- The Canvas skill node runs one of five skills on that context: sketch from context, frame from context, set background, scene 360 and beat graph. The beat graph is deterministic and free; the others queue a generation and cost credits like any other image.
