Every generation stores an immutable provenance record: the model that ran, the seed, every parameter, every reference image, the routing rationale and the real cost.
This is what makes the following actually true rather than aspirational:
- Full parameter recall — reproduce any past generation exactly.
- Cost tracing — per generation, from day one.
- C2PA manifests — the manifest is generated from the provenance, not asserted separately.
- Cleared Content certificates — a certificate audits the real provenance chain and cannot be issued if any asset is untraceable.
- The project archive — reproducible rather than merely descriptive.
