A style can be applied at four scopes:
- Project — sets Style DNA on the Universe. Every future generation in the project inherits it automatically.
- Scene — everything in that scene, overriding the project.
- Shot — one shot only.
- Restyle existing footage — a video-to-video pass that preserves the motion and performance you already paid for.
Narrower scope wins. Setting a project style does not retroactively change shots you already rendered; use restyle for those, or regenerate them.
