Support
Six ways to get help, each good at something different. The response times below are what actually happens, not what we would like to happen.
Help centre
Immediate.Every feature, written up with the reasoning behind it.
- Answered by
- Written documentation, searchable.
- Not for
- Anything specific to your account.
Help bot
Immediate.Answers from the help centre. Refuses rather than inventing when it does not know.
- Answered by
- A model, grounded on the help articles and nothing else.
- Not for
- Account changes, refunds, or anything it would have to guess at.
Community forum
Usually within a day.Public, searchable, and the answers stay findable for the next person.
- Answered by
- Other creators, and staff on unanswered threads.
- Not for
- Anything you would not want public — invoices, keys, private projects.
Status
Live on every page load.Whether it is you or us. Measured from the running system, not hand-updated.
- Answered by
- The system, measuring itself.
- Not for
- Reporting a problem — it only reports, it does not receive.
Not set up on this deployment
Discord — Live chat while you are working. Best for "is it me or is this broken".
Set DISCORD_INVITE_URL to enable.
Email support — Billing, account recovery, moderation appeals, anything private.
Set SUPPORT_EMAIL to enable.
Before reporting an outage, check the status page — it is measured from the running system rather than updated by hand, so it is current even when nobody has noticed yet.
