Eight paths, all on the Economics page:
- Watch-time revenue share from the subscription pool.
- Tips — viewers tip $1–$500 on a title.
- Rentals and purchases — set a price per title. A rental window starts on first play, not at checkout, so buying on Monday and watching on Friday is not a wasted rental.
- Creator subscriptions — up to four tiers with perks and early-access windows.
- Sponsorships.
- Merchandising — posters, apparel, figures, prints, stickers or digital downloads tied to a character or prop you own. Physical items require real artwork from your library.
- External licensing — festivals, broadcasters and brands enquire directly; you accept, decline or counter.
- Fan funding — all-or-nothing or keep-what-you-raise campaigns for films not yet made.
Without a payment processor connected, none of this collects money, and every surface says so. Subscriptions stay pending rather than showing as active, pledges show as pledged with the uncollected total displayed, and merch cannot be bought. A subscription marked active with no charge behind it means a creator is owed money nobody collected — which is the most damaging lie this system could tell.
All-or-nothing means all-or-nothing: if the goal is missed, every pledge is refunded automatically.
