The pipeline is the same in all three modes. What changes is how much of it you are asked about.
Beginner — nine of the sixteen steps run on your behalf: bibles, structure, tone, coverage, storyboards, style, assembly, mix and audit. You describe the film; the studio makes the craft decisions.
Director (the default) — you own story, shots, style and budget. Tone mapping, assembly and the mix are prepared for you and stay editable.
Professional — all sixteen steps exposed, including table reads, per-track audio mixing and test screenings. Nothing is auto-run; every stage waits for you.
Important: a step that is hidden is still run. Every gate — storyboard approval, the continuity audit, the safety pre-screen — executes in Beginner mode exactly as it does in Professional. You are simply not asked about it. Switching modes never loses work; you can move up mid-project and everything already decided stays decided.
